Day 2 – My First Sale!!
I just checked my Clickbank and found I had got my first sale on only my second day of Bum Marketing – $48.45! None of my articles have been accepted on Ezinearticles yet so it was from one of the two ads I put on Usfreeads yesterday. I checked my page views and only have 6 so far (I think 3 of those were my own) so that’s a pretty good conversion rate! I just checked the word count though and realised I had written about 1300 words of a review – no wonder it took me so long. Anyway I guess all that writing has paid off!

Congrats, Martin!
That’s awesome. You might not keep up that conversion rate, but if you do, you’ll probably retire pretty soon.
By the way, it took me about a week to have my articles approved by Ezine before I was upgraded to Platinum. I had to follow up with them after the deadline each time to get them to review the articles — then they reviewed them nearly immediately.

Thanks Mike, yeah I’ve heard it takes a while to get them reviewed until you get the upgrade. Still, my one sale has got me on a high for now.

There truly is nothing like your first sale! Your progress has encouraged me to keep on going forward. I’ve got 10 articles published with no results yet but I’m staying positive and will keep on churning out those articles every day.

Congrats! I am on my fourth day, with 12 articles, and am still looking for #1. I haven’t posted to USFreeAds yet, I will check that out.
I just started a blog similar to this one, where I plan to document my internet marketing efforts in 2007.

I have not opened up an account with usfreeads because it just seems soo competitive. You must be a great ad writer!! I wrote an article for a clickbank product and submitted it to 2 article directories, of course nothing yet.
Will consider usfreeads.

I have about 15 ads on USfreeads and havent had a single sale in about 3 weeks – i guess it must be something wrong with my ads or my keywords

Just a question, if I may – how long did it take Google to index your GoArticles article for your desired keyword? I submitted an article there a few days ago and have yet to see it on Google.us.
